MOSA BUDGET SUSPENDS TRAVEL AND LODGING COSTS

Kuwait City : The Acting Undersecretary Musallam Al-Subaie has reportedly ordered the suspension of the hospitality expenses item in all divisions and branches of the Ministry of Social Affairs, including the offices of the Minister, the Undersecretary, and the Assistant Undersecretaries, as of Tuesday.


On a related note, they announced that a decision to reassign the Minister of Social Affairs' affiliation with the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities—who had previously transferred management of the agency to the Minister of Health—would be made soon. 

This action was taken following the development of the Ministry of Social Affairs' own vision for addressing the files on facilities and services shared by the ministry and the Public Authority for the Disabled Affairs (PADA), which included two proposals in this regard. The first involves moving the authority's departments from South Sabahiya to the Social Welfare Homes Complex in Sulaibikhat. The first is completely connected to the ministry, while the second is connected to PADA.
