In Zimbabwe, scientists discovered Africa's oldest dinosaur, which is more than 230 million years old.

The Mbiresaurus raathi was a one-metre-tall dinosaur with a long neck and jagged teeth.

It was a sauropodomorph, a relative of the sauropod, a long-necked dinosaur that walked on four legs, according to scientists.

The skeleton was discovered during two expeditions to Mbire in the Zambezi Valley in 2017 and 2019.
