Kuwait's Public Authority for Manpower has uncovered a significant violation during a coordinated raid on an unlicensed health center. The facility was found to be employing workers without proper authorization, including individuals on family residency and domestic workers, while also practicing medicine without licenses.
The investigation revealed multiple violations, including the use of unlicensed medicines from unknown sources that were improperly stored, and the unauthorized operation of medical devices on patients. The raid was conducted through joint efforts between labor inspection teams, the Residence Affairs Investigation Department, and health and drug control authorities.
Officials confirmed that legal measures are being taken against all violators according to their respective jurisdictions. The authority emphasized its commitment to continuing inspection campaigns across all governorates and urged both employers and workers to fully comply with labor laws and regulations to ensure community safety and maintain an organized labor market.
