Kuwait Coast Guard Seizes Large Drug Haul from Seabed in Maritime Security Operation

Kuwait's Ministry of Interior has announced the successful seizure of a significant quantity of narcotics from the seabed within the country's territorial waters. The operation, conducted by the General Directorate of Coast Guard, resulted in the confiscation of 193 packages of hashish and approximately 10,000 psychotropic pills.

This maritime security operation was carried out as part of ongoing efforts to combat drug smuggling through Kuwaiti waters and prevent criminal exploitation of maritime areas. The ministry emphasized that this achievement reflects the effectiveness of its security strategy to maintain control over coastal areas and intercept prohibited materials before they reach the market.
