MOH ANNOUNCES ITS READINESS AND COMPLETION OF ITS PREPARATIONS FOR ELECTIONS

Kuwait City : Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Affairs of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi, and head of the committee formed and specialized in the Ministry of Health, which is concerned with following up on the provision of health needs and requirements for the National Assembly elections 2022, announced the readiness of the Ministry of Health through the various sectors of the concerned ministry, for the National Assembly elections.Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Mutairi explained that health preparations for the polling day have started since the period of registration of candidates in the General Administration of Elections, through the work committee, to prepare and follow up on providing the needs required for the National Assembly elections 2022, including field clinics, health cadres, medical equipment, and ambulances, in accordance with the requirements of the National Assembly elections. The Ministry's general emergency plan, in continuous coordination with the Supreme Elections Committee, and all parties related to the election procedures.


Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi confirmed that the medical teams - God willing - are now in the highest degree of readiness to provide health services in all locations and election headquarters, according to the set plan, praising in this regard the efforts of all health teams that participate in providing the required service, in all locations of the elections.

On the ministry's preparations in this regard, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, explained that the ministry's plan to provide preventive, emergency and curative health care related to the National Assembly elections in all locations, involving the concerned sectors in the ministry, including the technical sector, public health, and the pharmaceutical sector. Medical equipment, nursing services, medical emergency management, public services sector, emergency and accident departments council.

He explained that the ministry's preparations for the National Assembly elections 2022 include equipping 123 medical clinics distributed in various electoral sites, in addition to providing about 1,000 emergency medical technicians, 274 nurses and doctors, and 37 ambulances, with 20 cars from the Ministry's Medical Emergency Department, and 8 participating ambulances from a company. Kuwait Oil and 9 National Guard, distributed according to the number of voters in the electoral districts, stations indicating the participation of 7 main ambulance, and 29 sub-centers in these preparations.
