ELECTRICITY WAS CUT OFF IN SEVERAL PLACES IN KUWAIT WHERE BACHELORS LIVE

Kuwait City: The judicial enforcement team of the Ministry of Electricity and Water conducted a strict inspection campaign against law violations in the northern governorates. M Ahmed Al-Shammari, deputy head of the team and a member of the bachelors committee, said that 58 violations were reported in Jahra, Al Azima and Farwaniya governorates in September. Those who violated the law and did not follow the procedures and decisions of the Ministry were disconnected from the electricity connection.


More than 50 violations of electricity law were found in Farwania alone. Inspections will be tightened over the next two months as there have been several reports and warnings from the municipality regarding violations by bachelors living in private homes. Campaigns were recently concentrated in Farwaniya and Jahra governorates due to population density. Last month, more than 100 properties were cut off.
