QATAR IS ON THE LIST OF WHO'S HEALTHIEST CITIES

Doha :  Qatar News Agency reported that all the cities of Qatar have been included in the list of 'Healthy Cities' of the World Health Organization (WHO). With this, Qatar became the first country in the region to achieve accreditation for all its cities. Qatar University under the Qatar Foundation (QF) has also been recognized as a "Healthy University", having previously acquired the title of "Healthy Education City".


"We are proud to select all municipalities as health cities, Qatar University as a healthy university, and QF Education City as a healthy education center. This achievement is considered as the culmination of the efforts made by the country to take sustainable measures to achieve the health and well-being of the people of Qatar," said the Minister of Public Health, Dr. Hanan Muhammad Al Kuwari said.
