DECISION TO SOLVE TRAFFIC JAM IN SABAH AL SALEM REGION

Kuwait City: Agreement to resolve traffic congestion in Sabah Al Salem area by establishing entrances and exits at 5th-Ring Road, Fahaheel Road and Abdul Mohsen Al Sabih Street. Such a decision was reached after recent meetings between government agencies. It has been agreed to remove all the intersections and develop the Al Masael intersection. A special budget will be allocated to expedite these proposals.


The Roads Authority works in coordination with 6 agencies including the General Authority of Agriculture, Kuwait Municipality, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Finance and Ministries of Works and Electricity to find sustainable solutions to transport problems. For the next phase, the Roads Authority has put forward six proposals to unify the traffic directions within the region, prepare a modern and comprehensive traffic study, and create parking spaces with transport systems.
