Kuwait City: 38 MPs in total have so far voiced their dissatisfaction with the new government's formation.

Ammar Al-Ajmi, a member of parliament, stated that the new government's members have lost the trust of the populace and do not uphold the Constitution, so he is not prepared to work with it.

As pointed out by MP Muhammad Barrak Al- Mutair, there is still time to fix the error. He claimed that although the people chose capable lawmakers, the government is ineffective because it is led by ministers who have a history of betraying the will of the people. He came to the conclusion that ministers' backgrounds were not carefully examined before they were appointed.

In order to satisfy public demand, MP Abdulwahab Aref Al-Essa urged His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to swiftly reform the government. He issued a warning that, unless the error is corrected, the new government may become a source of crisis.

Given that the old path is still being followed and there are no signs of change, MP Abdullah Jassem Al-Mudaf questioned how the new government will be able to meet the demands of the populace. Since public support is the primary source of power and the ability to accomplish goals, he urged His Highness the Prime Minister to safeguard it.

It is unacceptable, according to MP Shuaib Ali Shaaban, to have ministers who failed to fight corruption and helped to violate the Constitution. He continued by saying that because Kuwaitis had a voice in the recently-concluded election, His Highness the Prime Minister ought to have taken the results into account when choosing competent and impartial ministers.
