Kuwait City: Health Insurance Hospitals Company (Dhaman) is expected to open by the end of this year. Reports are that the project included in Kuwait Vision 2035 is entering the operational phase to provide services to expatriates. Although the date of commencement of operations is yet to be specified, an agreement in principle has been reached regarding the operation of Dhaman for non-residents. It depends on the Ministries of Health, Home and Public Works.

Also, Manpower Authority and Kuwait Municipality should take some steps. Otherwise, the function of Dhamana will be obstructed. Dhaman has completed logistical preparations to open in December. Four health centers have already opened and the fifth will open in November, the health ministry said. Sources confirmed that while the main target was 600 beds, Dhaman has equipped both hospitals with 330 beds each.
