SOLAR POWERED SECURITY CAMERAS INSTALLED IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Surveillance cameras connected to the operations room of the Ministry of Interior have been installed to monitor the security situation in different areas of the country 24 hours a day. The project was implemented in four areas namely Dahiyat Abdullah Al Salem, Shamiya, Yarmouk and Qadisia Society's locations with the cooperation of the Departments of Cooperatives and the Ministry of Interior.


Solar cameras are installed in areas considered as model areas. With the support of cooperative societies, the project was implemented without financial burden on the Ministry of Home Affairs. Sources said cameras are expected to be installed in all areas to monitor law violations and ensure security. The aim is to reduce all crimes including theft by monitoring the entry and exit of vehicles 24 hours a day.
