KUWAIT HAS BECOME A STOPOVER FOR MIGRATORY BIRDS

Kuwait City: Kuwait has become a stopover for migratory birds. Fifteen species of migratory birds flew to Kuwait. Kuwait becomes a resting place for migratory birds before their journey ends. According to environmentalists and bird lovers, the birds entered the country through three gates, especially the Jahra Reserve. 


Hoopo, Pitcat, Corso, Great White Heron, Varwar, Lava, Little Grebe, Myna, Arctic Dromedary, Purple Heron and White Cheeked Bulbul have been observed in Jahra Reserve, Garden of Agriculture Authority in Rabih, Sabah Al Salem. Earlier, migratory birds also visited Kubbar Island. Their migration journey ended last August. It will be back next May.
