433 RESIDENCY VIOLATORS ARRESTED IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Security directorates in all six governorates handled 2,162 communications received by the operations room through the security phone of the Ministry of Interior last week, according to weekly statistics of the public security sector. 717 humanitarian aid was also provided. Over the past week, public security officials have set up 750 security checkpoints under the supervision of Major General Abdullah Al-Rajeeb, Assistant Under-Secretary at the Ministry of Interior.


15 people on the wanted list were arrested. 167 people were arrested for violating residence and labor laws through fixed and mobile security patrols and checkpoints. Public safety officers arrested 266 people who did not have the required documents. Also 81 people were arrested in connection with drugs. They were referred to the Drug Control General Administration and five local liquor manufacturing factories were closed.
