Kuwait City: According to sources, the Ministry of Information has informed the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Development of its plan to allocate 20 shops and 15 booths in Yom Al-Bahar heritage village to the owners of SMEs who received a loan from the fund. This is part of the government's efforts to support Kuwaiti youths.

According to sources, the ministry has begun taking the necessary steps to resurrect the village after a several-year hiatus. According to sources, the ministry issued five tenders to those interested in investing in the village, which will serve as a recreational and entertainment facility for families. According to sources, the ministry has yet to specify the rental costs for the shops, but it is anticipated that they will be minimal and only be required for a period of up to one year in order to support SMEs. Sources, on the other hand, confirmed that 40 booths and 22 spots on the Jaber Bridge islands have been reserved for mobile vehicles that are funded by the fund or other sources.

The rent for booths is reportedly KD50 for two weeks, which is almost the same as the rental fee for mobile vehicles, according to sources. According to sources, the Jaber Bridge islands will probably open in the middle of this month, managed by the fund in collaboration with the Kuwait Municipality and Public Authority for Roads and Transportation (PART); the Public Authority for Youth will choose volunteers from among Kuwaiti youths to help with the organisation and management of the temporary project. By the end of April, the islands will reportedly be given to the developer, according to sources.
