Head of the Kuwaiti Fishermen Federation to exclude fishermen from stopping “entry visas”

Kuwait City, Jan 30: The head of the Kuwaiti Federation of Fishermen Thaher Al-Soyyan and the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Defense, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, appealed to consider opening entry visas for expatriate fishermen, given that the fishing profession is not normal and involves great hardship and is not present in the local market.

Many of the fishermen have left the country and do not want to return, stressing the necessity of approving the applications submitted by the owners of fishing licenses so that they can carry out their national duty in providing marine food security.
