Kuwait City, March 10: The joint committee consisting of the Public Authority for Manpower, the Residency Affairs Investigation, and the Ministry of Commerce was able to decipher the mystery of selling food supplies on the black market. For two days, it tracked down some street vendors who were found to be buying these items from violating stores in the Al-Firdous and Al-Raqi areas. The committee's team seized expatriate sellers of Bangladeshi and Syrian nationalities.

The capital's emergency team raided a warehouse in a house in the Al-Hasawi area, which was used by a Bengali gang to store large quantities of subsidized supplies. The subsidized food items have been monitored with the aim of selling them illegally.
