Kuwaiti engineer's success story inspires every woman in the world

Kuwait City, April 19: In a step that enhances the status of Kuwaiti youth achievement, the World Intellectual Property Organization WIPO published on its official website and in its own magazine the success story of the Kuwaiti engineer, Janan Al-Shihab. 

Janan Al-Shehab, the first Kuwaiti and Arab ambassador for the “Global Women’s Network for Inventors and Innovators”, won the title of the best inventor in the world, when she participated in the Toronto International Invention Fair in Canada, for her invention of the wireless power transmission system from a distance, and she won 6 gold medals in the field of inventions. On this occasion, Al-Shehab explained that  this was based on a study by UNESCO, which stated that 57% of STEM graduates in the Middle East are women, compared to a third in the rest of the world.
