Kuwait celebrates Eid-ul-Fitr

Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated with fervour and ebullience across the world. It marks the end of the fasting of Ramadan for the Islamic community. The sighting of the moon determines the end of Ramadan and beginning of Eid. Along with various Gulf countries, Kuwait was also busy with Eid celebrations on Friday. Tens of thousands performed Eid prayers in different parts of the country at 5.30 am in Eid gahs and mosques. Kuwait will observe a five-day holiday.
