India's space agency, ISRO, has launched its third lunar mission- Chandrayaan 3, on-board the heavylift LVM3-M4 rocket in Sriharikota on July 14. The Vikram lander is set to land on the south pole of the Moon at 5:47 pm on August 23. The launch took place at 2:35 pm on the second launch pad after a 25-30 hour countdown. The rocket, known as 'Fat Boy', was the largest and heaviest of its class and lifted off with a huge amount of smoke.
