33 years since Iraqi invasion of Kuwait

Today marks the 33rd anniversary of the brutal Iraqi invasion of the State of Kuwait, as Kuwaitis recall the painful memory and the lessons from this ordeal, and evoke the steadfastness of the resistance that struck the most wonderful heroics in an immortal national epic in order to liberate the country.

The memory of that black day in the country's history will remain alive in the hearts of the people of Kuwait who lived through the bitterness of the invasion. On the 2nd of August 1990, the Iraqis invaded Kuwait in a vicious attempt to take over the country.
