MoI will issue new family visa conditions

According to reports, the Interior Ministry will start issuing new family visa rules at the end of the year. The new rules are expected to be announced in December. These rules will include giving the visitor a special card and requiring them to get health insurance. Sources said that the rules will apply to any son, daughter, parent of a child over 16, or parents and their child.
 
The health insurance fee may be as high as KD 500, and the duration of visit may not exceed one month. The fees for issuance of a visit visa may go up by 100 percent compared to what was used in the past. New terms include the applicant's promise that a visitor will leave the nation as soon as the visit period ends.
