A local daily reported that one hundred residents have been expelled from the country in two months due to serious traffic offenses. The primary offenses leading to expulsion include driving without a valid driving license, excessive speed, reckless driving, and carrying passengers illegally.

The authorities have instructed all traffic patrol units to maintain a constant presence on the country's highways in order to effectively enforce the directives, prepare plan in certain areas where expatriates are present, and examine driving licenses and the performance of vehicles.
