Indonesia has no plan to import domestic workers to Kuwait

The positive progress of cooperation in the labor and employment sector between Indonesia and Kuwait has been confirmed by Ambassador Lena Maryana. She stated that discussions and technical arrangements are currently taking place with the Kuwaiti government to employ Indonesian nursing professionals in government hospitals.


Maryana affirmed that there are no plans to import domestic workers from Indonesia to Kuwait. She highlighted that the Indonesian government is dedicated to enhancing the employment opportunities for skilled Indonesian workers across multiple sectors in the country. These sectors include hospitality services, nursing, oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, education, and automobiles.
