The Ministry of Interior's General Directorate of Criminal Investigations has recently announced the activation of the virtual room (Aman) in partnership with the Public Prosecution and the Kuwait Banking Association (KBA). This initiative aims to combat financial fraud and money laundering by operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
According to a news statement released by the Ministry's General for Media Security and Relations, the virtual room will facilitate the receipt of complaints related to financial fraud from all local banks and ensure prompt response. Additionally, the statement highlighted that the directorate takes immediate action upon receiving any complaints and promptly freezes the stolen funds from the perpetrators' accounts.
