Kuwait has initiated a three-month amnesty period starting from Sunday and ending on June 17. This period aims to provide relief to expatriates who have violated the country's residency laws. The initiative was announced by Sheikh Fahad Yousef Al Sabah, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Acting Minister of Interior. It is noteworthy that this amnesty coincides with the holy month of Ramadan. Expatriates who are in violation of the residency laws can utilize this opportunity to rectify their status or leave Kuwait without facing any fines.
