The General Department of Narcotics Control, in cooperation with the General Administration of the Coast Guard, was able to thwart the smuggling of about 40 kilograms of narcotic hashish and 2000 Captagon tablets by sea and arrested two people involved in bringing it with the intention of trading it in the country. They are being referred to the Public Prosecution.
The Ministry of Interior confirms that the security men continue to confront drug dealers and smugglers and to protect and preserve society from these dangerous scourges.
