Monkeypox: Six suspected cases in Kuwait test negative

The Ministry of Health is swiftly implementing measures to broaden the vaccination protocols for medical personnel and staff at the Infectious Diseases Hospital, following the confirmation that six suspected cases of monkeypox in the country were negative. Health sector sources indicate that preventive health teams in several governorates of Kuwait have been monitoring approximately six suspected instances of the monkeypox virus, with one case reported in Jahra Governorate, one in the Capital, and two each in Ahmadi and Farwaniya governorates. Laboratory tests have verified that these cases do not involve the mpox virus.
