Kuwait Issues Warning on Egypt-Made Maragatty Chicken Stock

  • 02/03/2025

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN) in Kuwait has issued a cautionary notice regarding Maragatty chicken stock, a product manufactured in Egypt. The warning comes after authorities identified the presence of banned artificial color additives that could pose health risks to consumers.

Officials confirmed that the product has not officially entered the Kuwaiti market. However, as a precautionary measure, the public is advised to remain vigilant and refrain from using the chicken stock if found. Those in possession of the product should dispose of it immediately.

The affected product is sold in 480-gram packaging with an expiration date of November 1, 2025. Food safety authorities continue to monitor imports to ensure public health and compliance with local food standards.
