Abu Dhabi: The UAE aid ship Khalifa has set sail from Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi, carrying 7,166 tons of urgent humanitarian supplies for Gaza. This mission, part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, is the largest aid shipment sent by the UAE under this initiative so far.
The cargo includes 4,372 tons of food, 1,433 tons of shelter materials, 860 tons of medical supplies, and 501 tons of hygiene items. The ship will dock at El Arish Port in Egypt, where the aid will be moved by land into Gaza to reach families struggling with severe shortages of essentials.
Since launching this relief operation, the UAE has delivered more than 77,000 tons of aid to Gaza, strengthening its role as a leading regional supporter in humanitarian crises.
With nearly half a million people in Gaza facing starvation and the threat of famine worsening, the UAE continues to coordinate relief efforts through its institutions and charities to ensure that critical supplies arrive quickly.
The departure of the Khalifa aid ship demonstrates the UAE’s unwavering commitment to helping vulnerable communities and providing vital support where it is needed most.
