Kuwaiti authorities have intercepted approximately two million Captagon pills concealed within glass panels at Shuwaikh Port, preventing a major narcotics smuggling operation. The General Administration of Customs, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior and Criminal Investigations Department, discovered the drugs hidden along the edges of glass panels inside a 20-foot container arriving from Lebanon.

Following intelligence from the General Department of Criminal Investigation, customs officials conducted thorough inspections that revealed the sophisticated concealment method. The operation demonstrates enhanced inter-agency cooperation between customs and security forces in combating drug trafficking networks attempting to exploit commercial shipping channels.

Customs authorities have emphasized their ongoing commitment to protecting national security and societal safety through coordinated efforts to detect and prevent smuggling attempts. Legal procedures have been initiated while investigations continue to identify and apprehend all individuals involved in the smuggling operation.
