Dasman Diabetes Institute Wins Best Medical Institution Award

Kuwait City : The Dasman Diabetes Institute won the award of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Al-Maktoum for the best medical institution in the Arab world. Director-General of the Dasman Institute Dr Qais Al-Duwairi said "The institute had been selected for the award of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Al-Maktoum as the best institute among many medical and research centres and institutions in the Arab world," In a statement, Al-Duwairi and all employees of the institute expressed their pride in this honorable achievement.

They granted the award to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah who is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences which established the Dasman Diabetes Institute. The winning of this award announced on Wednesday and presented and approved by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Governor of Dubai, Minister of Finance and patron of the award.
