US AIRSTRIKES IN IRAQ:TOP ISIS LEADER KILLED

The U.S.-led coalition has killed a senior leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria in Kirkuk. Jabbar Salman Ali Farhan al-Issawi, 43, also known as Abu Yasser, was killed during a joint US-Iraqi operation.He is believed to have coordinated ISIS operations in Iraq and provided guidance to group fighters across the country .The airstrikes came amid a series of bombings in Baghdad earlier this month. Coalition spokesman Wayne Maroto said his death was another major setback for the Daesh (ISIS) revival efforts in Iraq.ISIS has claimed responsibility for a twin suicide bombing that killed 32 people in Baghdad last week.
