Passenger traffic at Dubai International Airport decreased by 67.8% in the first quarter compared to the corresponding period last year, before the pandemic paralyzed global travel activity .The operator at Dubai Airports announced that the airport received 5.75 million passengers in the first quarter of this year, while the number of passengers in March reached more than 2 million. The airport handled 550.8 thousand tons of cargo, up 3.2 percent year on year.Dubai International Airport handled a total of 550,811 tons of air cargo during the first three months of 2021, an annual increase of 3.2%.
