KuwaitCity: INS Shardul, an Indian Navy ship is arriving at Mangalore,Karnataka with a load of210 MT Liquid Medical Oxygen and 1200 Oxygen Cylinders as medical aid fromKuwait.
This aid by the Kuwait government is to support India infighting the COVID-19 spread in the country by contributing much-needed medicalsupplies. The Authorities in India have expressed their gratitude to theircounterparts in Kuwait for the essential support during these troubled times.
INS Shardul was developed to carry tanks, trucks, andtroops. The ship was once used to transport Indians who were stranded overseasback to India during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
