DUST STORM DISRUPTS PORTS, THE DUST WAVE TO CONTINUE TILL TUESDAY

Kuwait City: The dust storm that has engulfed the country has severely reduced visibility, this has resulted in a temporary suspension of marine navigation in the ports of Shuwaikh, Shuaiba, and Doha.

Despite the adverse weather, air traffic continued to remain unchanged and did not affect the movement of incoming and outgoing aircraft.
Meteorologist Muhammad Karam revealed that the country is expected to be affected by the dust wave till Tuesday, provided that the gradual stabilization of the weather begins from Wednesday.
He reported that the wind reaching speeds of  70 km/hr, which resulted in limited visibility in the area. He stated that the overlap of the seasonal Indian depression with the northwestern air high is the cause of the current weather phenomena.
