Kuwait City: Following the government's decision to allow entry into Kuwait for residents from the beginning of August, The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is taking steps to implement the decision.
The sources have stated that this would lead to the abolishment of the list of high-risk countries and that the criterion for entry will be vaccination of passengers against COVID-19 from a list of approved vaccines from the MoH and a valid residence permit.
However, the cabinet decision to limit the number of arrivals to the country at 5,000 is still in effect. But it is expected that the number of flights will only reach those levels after the start of flights from all countries resume.
Kuwait has a plan to open the air and cancel the list of high-risk countries after reaching the vaccination rates for citizens and residents of more than 70%.
