KUWAIT TO IMPORT 200,000 DOSES OF JOHNSON & JOHNSON'S VACCINE

Kuwait City: The Kuwait Ministry of Health is planning to import 200,000 doses of Johnson & Johnson's vaccine for cor combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
As per the sources within the ministry, the Ministry of Health obtained the approval of the supervisory authorities to finalize the contract with a company to supply the vaccine at two million dollars.
This move comes after the ministry clearing Johnson & Johnson's vaccine for use against the COVID-19 virus. This is the fourth vaccine approved by Kuwait after Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Moderna vaccines.
The first batch of Johnson & Johnson's vaccine is expected to arrive in Kuwait by the 4th quarter of this year.
