Kuwait City: Ahmed Al Manfouhi, Director General of the Kuwait Municipality, said that workers who do not receive the vaccine will not be allowed in shops and markets. They will not be forced to get vaccinated. He, however, said that they would be excluded from commercial matters as they would have to deal with citizens and residents who have completed the vaccination.

Al-Manfouhi Avenues Mall was inspected to check the implementation of a cabinet decision banning entry to various places for those who do not receive the vaccine. He said Covid cases in the country and the increasing number of people admitted to the intensive care unit had forced them to impose stricter restrictions. Everyone will be encouraged to receive the vaccine to return to normal life.

Government agencies are taking steps to help the health system. The Ministry of Health plans to vaccinate in large quantities within the next two months to achieve social immunity. At the same time, he added, the number of people coming to shop has come down with the entry ban on those who do not receive the vaccine.
