ETIHAD AIRWAYS SUSPENDS SAUDI SERVICE UNTILL FURTHER NOTICE

  • 05/08/2021

Abu Dhabi: Etihad Airways has suspended flights to and from Saudi Arabia indefinitely. The decision comes in the wake of clarifications that only international travelers who have received the Saudi-approved Covid vaccine will have access from August 1.

Earlier this month, Etihad announced that the service would be suspended until the 10th of this month. Passengers can change the date by contacting the airline. The Saudis approved the vaccines Pfizer, Modena, Astra Senaka (2 doses each) and Johnson & Johnson (one dose). Those who have taken Sinofam and Synovac 2 doses may enter Saudi Arabia even if they have received any of the above vaccine booster doses.
