Kuwait City: Foreign schools are being opened in Kuwait, including Indian schools. Classes will start online from next Monday. Regular classes will begin Sept. 26, school officials said. Earlier, the education minister had announced that regular classes would start on October 3 in Indigenous schools and private Arabic schools.

The authorities had stated that there should be a maximum of 20 children in a class and that certain arrangements should be made to maintain social distance between the children. Permission was granted to conduct the class from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Classes can be held from Sunday to Thursday from 7.30 am to 11.30 am and from 12 noon to 3.30 pm in 2 shifts.

In addition, regular classes and online classes are available, officials said. The Ministry of Education has said that only half of the seats on school buses should be occupied by children and that children, teachers and staff who have not been vaccinated should undergo weekly PCR checks.
