CHILDREN ALLOWED TO RIDE E-SCOOTERS IN SHARJAH

Sharjah: Children over the age of 14 are also allowed to ride e-scooters in Sharjah. The only condition is to wear a helmet and turn on the front and rear lights. E-scooters should be driven only in special lanes and should be parked only at designated places.


Authorities have asked parents to educate their children about safety guidelines to follow when driving e-scooters. Officials also reminded that the majority of e-scooter accidents are caused by driving on public roads for cars.
