CIVIL AVIATION RECEIVED REVISED OPERATIONAL APPLICATIONS FROM NATIONAL AIRLINES FOR LAUNCHING DIRECT FLIGHTS

Kuwait City: Civil Aviation has received revised operational applications from national airlines to launch direct flights, including from Egypt and India. The cabinet had given permission to increase the number of people who could reach the country daily.


This has accelerated the process of launching flights from some Asian countries, including India. Kuwait Airways has applied to operate two daily services to Cairo Airport and three weekly services to Burj Al Arab Airport.

Al Jazeera Airways has applied to start a daily service to India. The process is expected to take more than a week to complete, sources said.
