KUWAIT WILL REVIEW THE RENEWAL OF HIGH-PAYING VISAS

Kuwait City: Kuwait to review renewals of high-wage visas. Sultan Al Shalani, Deputy Director General of the Human Resources Committee, said that the renewal of high-paying visas in Kuwait will be reviewed.


The local newspaper reports, many expatriates will lose their jobs if the decision is implemented. The move is part of a decision to replace expatriates with natives. However, Sultan al-Shalani said the committee was working to create more than 12,000 jobs in the private sector for locals within the next two years.
