INDIA-KUWAIT JOINT WORKING GROUP JOINS MEETING

Kuwait City : The meeting of the India-Kuwait Joint Working Group on Employment and Human Resource Development was held virtually. Abbagani Ramu, Joint Secretary, Indian Affairs, represented India. 


The Kuwaiti delegation was led by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mishal Ibrahim Al Mudhaf. Representatives of the Indian Embassy were also present. The last meeting of the Joint Working Group was held in 2018. All issues related to human resources and employment cooperation were discussed at the meeting. 

They also discussed issues related to domestic workers, recruitment of nurses and missing Indians in Kuwait. He also spoke about the return of those trapped in India to Kuwait.
