COUNTRY'S IMMUNIZATION AT CRITICAL STAGE AND WILL SOON REACH 100 PER CENT

Kuwait City: "Health immunization in the country is at a critical stage and will soon reach 100 per cent,"  Basil al-Sabah said. He was accompanied by Interior Minister Sheikh Tamar Al Ali yesterday to visit the vaccination center in Khairan. According to current estimates, more than 70 percent of the population has received the Kovid vaccine.tical stage and will soon reach 100 per cent," he said. Basil al-Sabah said.


 The Minister said that the current immune system in the country is excellent and the country is on the right track in achieving social immunity. Al-Sabah said that the decision to vaccinate children over the age of five had not been made and was being studied. "The people of the country have fully co-operated with the vaccination campaign and we have been able to achieve this in a short period of time through the careful planning of health workers," he said. 

Kuwait has the best cure rate in the region. Daily morbidity is also at a minimum. The significant drop in test-positive vity rates has also boosted the confidence of health workers. The country's health has improved dramatically as a result of the accelerated vaccination drive. The health minister said the country was at a critical juncture in bringing children back to school within two months and gradually returning to normal life and should not be lazy in health care guidelines.
