Kuwait City: September 12 marks the end of this year's NEET examination by writing a new chapter in the history of Indian expatriates in Kuwait. The examination was held at the Indian Embassy in Kuwait from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm Kuwait time. About 300 students from different states appeared for the exam. The exam was in full compliance with NEET's guidelines.

The NEET examination held at the Indian Embassy in Kuwait was full of many features. Most importantly, this is the first time that a NEET examination center has been sanctioned outside India. It is also noteworthy that Kuwait was the first to seek an opportunity not even available to other Gulf countries with a greater presence of Indian expatriates than Kuwait. It was also an unexpected blessing for many parents and students who were unable to return home due to travel restrictions imposed by Kuwait in the Covid context. The Embassy of India has made extensive preparations for the examination. The students were escorted to the examination center by a special vehicle from the entrance gate to the Indian Embassy.

This historic achievement is also a source of great pride to Ambassador Sibi George, who worked tirelessly to make the most of his contacts to select Kuwait as the venue for the first-ever examination center outside India. The Ambassador would like to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and NEET officials for selecting Kuwait as the first NEET examination center outside the country, on behalf of all expatriates in Kuwait. The Indian Embassy also thanked all the schools in Kuwait, students and parents for their help in making the exam a success.
