QATAR BECOMES FIFTH MOST EXPENSIVE COUNTRY IN WORLD

Doha: Qatar has the fifth highest rent in the world. Qatar is followed by Hong Kong, Singapore, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Saudi Arabia has the lowest rents in the Gulf. Saudi Arabia is ranked 63rd out of 109 countries. The 24/7 Wall Street website has published a list of the world's most rented countries. 


According to the website, the average rent for a flat in downtown Doha is $ 1,548 and $ 987 outside the city. After Qatar, rents are higher in Iceland, Ireland and the United States. The UAE is the 11th highest rental country in the Gulf, followed by Kuwait (19) and Bahrain (20). Oman is 39th.
