Kuwait City: With the opening of the Kuwait International Airport and the return of the country to normalcy, the Kuwaiti exchange market surged. The region was in a state of great stagnation as the airport was closed for a long time. The turnover at Kuwait Airport increased by 80 per cent in July. Currencies such as the Turkish lira, the US dollar, the euro and the Egyptian pound have been in high demand. Those working in the region shared the hope that increasing the capacity of the airport would accelerate the leap from the stagnation of the exchange market.
