KUWAIT APPROVES CONVERSION OF BUSINESS VISAS INTO WORK VISAS

Kuwait City: Ahmed Al Mousa, Director General of the Kuwait Public Authority for Manpower, has approved the conversion of commercial visit visas into work visas. Ahmed al-Moussa said the covid Emergency Committee had approved a proposal to convert visitor visas into work visas. 


Earlier, the heads of various companies and employers in the country had asked the Public Authority for Manpower to issue visas due to the severe labor shortage in the Kuwaiti labor market following the epidemic. The change of visa will be subject to the provisions of Article (18). With this, commercial establishments and owners can change the business visit visa of the workers to the work visa as per their requirement.
