SAFETY INSPECTION IN SHUWAIKH INDUSTRIAL AREA, 28 ARRESTED

Kuwait City: The Interior Ministry's General Administration of Relations and Security Media reported that 28 security forces were arrested during a security check in the Shuwaikh industrial area. 


The inspections were carried out under the direction of Lieutenant General Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, under the direction of Maj. Gen. Farraj Al-Saab, Maj. Gen. Farraj Al-Saab, Director General of Capital Security, Major General Abdin Al-Abidin and Brigadier Abdullah Al-Rajeeb. 

Eight people were arrested without residency documents, 15 for expiration of residence, four for crimes, one for impersonation and three for illegal vehicles. The ministry said security campaigns would continue all the time to expand security checks and arrest violators and those in need for the safety of the people and the country.

Kuwait has been tightening security checks since last week. The inspections were intensified with the aim of fully apprehending residency violators. More than 500 people were taken into custody.
